Meet Lauren
I am a life coach, writer, and someone who knows firsthand what it’s like to grow through hard seasons, break old cycles, and step into something new in faith.
I started Becoming Academy in 2023 with a heart to help individuals stop doubting and start building. Coaching gave me a front-row seat to transformation, not just for others but for myself. It taught me that strategy is spiritual, clarity is powerful, and healing makes room for becoming.
Before coaching, I spent years pursuing a career in sports broadcasting after playing Division I basketball at the University of Virginia. I later earned my Master’s in Journalism from the University of Maryland. My background shaped how I show up today with focus, grit, and a belief that you don’t have to perform your way into purpose, but you do have to participate in it.
Now I get to blend coaching and writing to help you break unhealthy patterns, build what God placed in you, and boldly tell the story that got them here. Adding writing to Becoming Academy wasn’t just about expanding my services. It was about taking my own advice — use your voice, own your story, and help others do the same.
